Kenya Kwanza leaders on Nakuru charm offensive, promises to improve Kenyans livelihoods

BY CORRESPONDENT,NAKURU,19TH MAY,2022-The Kenya Kwanza Alliance has vowed to address the plight of police officers in the Country to minimize cases of corruption in the service if elected in August.

Speaking at the Rift Valley Sports Club during the Nakuru County Bottom-Up Economic Forum, Mathira MP and recently nominated DP William Ruto’s running mate, Rigathi Gachagu said they will improve police officers salaries and ensure they are paid commensurate amounts with the job they do.

Gachagu said police officers are paid poorly, treated inhumanly and their grievances ignored, hence the rising cases of corruption in the service.

The two endorsed UDA Gubernatorial aspirant Susan Kihika, urging the residents to send home the current Governor and elect one who has their interests at heart.

DP Ruto said Kenya Kwanza will be people-driven adding that development projects will be regional based.

He latter headed to Nyandarua County making stops in Kinangop, Miharati among others accompanied by ANC Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi, FORD Kenya Party Leader Moses Wetangula. MP Moses Kuria, Governor Alfred Mutua among others.

DP Ruto implored on the residents to say no to politics of deceit saying his rival in the forthcoming election is only interested in creating positions.

He said Raila’s only agenda is to revive the BBI, create political positions for his allies while Kenyans continue to suffer.

Mudavadi said as leaders they have taken note of the needs and projects Kenyans want prioritized, among them reviving the once thriving pyrethrum sub-sector and the agriculture sector as a whole.

He said they will continue holding county-by-county forums to listen to the people on what their priority needs are.

“That is how, as Kenya Kwanza we want to form a government of the people, by the people for the people,” He said.
