BY JOAN WANJIKU,NAIROBI,15TH APRIL,2022- Laikipia Woman Rep Cate Waruguru has been defeated by Amin Deddy Mohammed for Laikipia East MP seat.
Deddy received 12,736 votes, Waruguru got 5,595 votes and Anthony Mutahi was third with 2,701 votes.
Other notable names who have lost the just concluded primaries are: Charles Keter, Wilson Sossion, Governor Mandago and Bomet Woman Rep Joyce Korir.
They have termed the entire process as largely shambolic. They claim In most areas, winners were determined by pre-marked ballot paper
