Police recruitment exercise starts tragically in Busia as one recruit dies

BY CORRESPONDENT,BUSIA,24TH MARCH,2022-The Kenya police recruitment exercise begun on Thursday March 24, 2022 across the country with the national police service commission intending to recruit at lest 5000 new officers to join the service. While the first day saw the process proceed well in many parts of the country,the situation was rather unfortunate in Busia.

This is after a male recruit died after running four times  at the Busia stadium.

According to the police source who spoke to the media, the recruit identified as Johnston Ochieng died after efforts to revive him after he fainted proofed futile. His friends described him as a warm, friendly and generous person.

His friend Teresa Opondo Daniels on Facebook said ”’I value friendship and humility have Someone ever been Kind to you in this world?
