Uganda’s opposition leader Bobie Wine describes the just concluded presidential election as a mockery of democracy

BY CORRESPONDENT ,KAMPALA,22ND JAN ,2021-Uganda’s opposition leader Bobi Wine has described the presidential election held on January 14 as a mockery of democracy. Wine came second in the race against incumbent president Yoweri Museveni,who won a sixth term with an outright majority.

The election results have been fabricated’ wine,who has been detained in his home since Friday,said in a video message.

” This is an insult to all Ugandans who have fought for freedom. We reject these fake results, and we refuse to ackknowledge Museveni as the winner. Resisting tyranny in Uganda is now our duty. We must rise peacefully”
