BY JOHN WERU,NAIROBI,3RD OCT,2020- Chelsea produced a masterclass in the second half to register a 4-0 win over Crystal Palace in a Premier League early kick-off encounter staged at Stamford Bridge.

On his debut, Ben Chilwell opened the scoring before Kurt Zouma made it 2-0 through a header. Midfielder Jorginho scored two penalties to ensure the Blues move to the fourth on the log.

After a goalless draw in the first half, Chelsea took the lead through their new signing Ben Chilwell. Sakho failed to clear the ball, Azpilicueta sliced a left-footed shot, and after some pressure from Abraham on Kouyate eight yards out, the ball fell fortuitously to Chilwell unmarked on the left of the box. He ran onto it, and smashed it past Guaita from eight yards! A goal on his Premier League debut for Chelsea.

Kurt Zouma scored the second goal through a header after Hudson-Odoi spread the ball back from Chilwell’s cleared corner.

The hosts were awarded two penalties with Jorginho stepping up to take both and made no mistake from the two occasions.

Frank Lampard’s men have won six consecutive league games against Crystal Palace for the first time in their history
