Tanzania bars three planes from 3 different Kenyan companies from accessing its air space

BY JOAN WANJIKU,NAIROBI,27TH AUG 2020-Planes belonging to three Kenyan companies have been barred from entering Tanzania.This is due to what Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) says is aimed at preventing the spread of COVID19.The affected planes belongs to three Kenyan companies named: AirKenya, Fly540 and  Safarilink Aviation .

TCAA,Chief executive officer  Hamza Johari  has  confirmed the move .

The two East African countries have been at loggerheads  having disagreed on the manner in which each of them has been handling the Corona Virus pandemic since March this year.Earlier last month Kenya produced a list of  130 countries whose citizens will be exempted from quarantine once they come visiting but Tanzania was not among them
