BY JOAN WANJIKU,NAIROBI,21ST MARCH,2020-Kenyans from all walks of life on Saturday decided to hold prayers in their on way to ask God for help and pardon over the Corona Virus that continues to ravage many parts of the world.

This even as president Uhuru Kenyatta hosted various religious leaders at state house Nairobi to pray for God’s intervention.

In Ruaka area of Kiambu county ,Mechanics and bodaboda operators in the rapidly growing town were not left behind deciding to down their tools and pray against the coronavirus pandemic.

They were joining thousands of Kenyans across the country in the National Prayers day following the outbreak of the new coronavirus.

Kenya has so far confirmed seven positive cases of the COVID-19.Globally the latest  figures indicate that a total of  276,474 people have been infected by the deadly virus .

Total number of deaths worldwide is 11,417 and recovered cases are 91,954.
