Citizen TV’s Jackie Maribe finds defenders after a bashing from Kenyans who have roasted her on Social media over arrest of fiance

BY KORIR JUMA,NAIROBI,25TH SEPT 2018-A section of Kenyans  have decided to stands with Citizen TV’s Jacque Maribe after the s fiance, Joe Irungu alias Jowie Joe  was arrested in connection with the brutal murder of 28 year old, Monica Nyawira Kimani.

However on Tuesday Kenyans especially on Social media attacked the TV girl for having dated a killer in the first place.Some of the accused her of going after money but not character.But in a rejoinder others came to Maribe’s defence saying it was love that took her to the guy.Some even refuted the reports that the TV personality in question was Maribe.

Monica was found dead in her apartment along Dennis Pritt road on Thursday shortly after jetting back from South Sudan.


Social media massages sampled by  has found that not all people were mad with Maribe after are some of the messages:

Monica’s  lifeless body was discovered by her brother and sister after unsuccessfully trying to reach her the night before.

They found her in the bath tub with her throat slit.

Jowie, who  is  a trained mercenary for hire works in the UAE as a bouncer and sometimes works with politicians as a private security guard.

Joe is said to have shot himself

It is reported that Ms Kimani was in the company of a white man, a neighbour when three other men, known to her showed up. The third man, in a white kanzu who identified himself as a pastor is said to have killed her in cold blood.

Police have arrested Jowie who is suspected to have shot himself in the shoulder on Friday and taken to the hospital by the Citizen TV reporter.

Maribe has also been questioned and has admitted to having taken her boyfriend to the hospital on the said day.
