Jubilee youth leaders pay Odinga courtesy call,unity of the country given priority

 BY EURIDICE NZIOKA,NAIROBI,19TH SEPT 2018-Jubilee Party youth leaders  on  Wednesday  met NASA leader Raila Odinga at his capitol hill office where  various issues were discussed among them the unity of the Nation.

“They undertook to bury the hatchet and mount a combined push towards the realisation of the Building Bridges Initiative agenda,” Raila said after the meeting.

Odinga who addressed the press after the meeting urged  the youths “to embrace the handshake since they are the leaders of tomorrow.”

“We share certain things of concern and also mutual interests. Youths’ contribution remains significant to the growth of the nation,” Raila said.

He said they discussed various issues affecting the nation adding that the resolutions will change the lives of millions of Kenyans if implemented.

“We exchanged vital ideas on how to realise the goals of the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and myself,” Raila said.

On their part ,the youths at the meeting asked Kenyans to embrace the handshake.

Daughters of Raila founder Renee Mokaya said: “We had differences during campaigns but we are here to discuss peace, unity and national development.”
