BY SAMSON MBII,NAIROBI,25TH AUG 2018-Liverpool have now taken maximum points from their opening three games, but Jurgen Klopp will be delighted that his side managed to win on a day they were just off the pace.
Mohamed Salah opened the scoring with a calm finish from the edge of the box after Yves Bissouma was caught in possession high up the pitch by James Milner.
Bissouma was having a decent game up until that moment. It will serve as a reminder of how quickly things can change in the Premier League, especially against a side like Liverpool, who picked his pocket and within three passes had the ball in the back of the net.
Brighton came on strong in the second half and created a few chances of their own, but did not quite have the lethal touch Liverpool showed earlier in the game.
You could sense Klopp wasn’t satisfied and wanted more but upon reflection he will be delighted with the three points.
