BY DPPS,BUNGOMA,11TH AUG 2018-Deputy president William Ruto says that the Government will continue to empower institutions charged with the responsibility of fighting corruption to adequately discharge their mandate.
Mr Ruto assured independent institutions established in the Constitution tasked with the responsibility of ensuring that the country’s resources are well managed of the Government’s support in executing their mandate.
Speaking in Kamusinde Boys High School grounds in Kimilili, Bungoma County, on Saturday, Mr Ruto told the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Parliament, Directorate of Public Persecutions (DPP) and Judiciary that they had ‘their political goodwill’. “Every institution in this country knows its responsibility and should discharge it well because they are all answerable to the public,” said Mr Ruto.
