BY NAMULONGO PETER,NAIROBI,17TH JULY 2018-A Nairobi court has this afternoon released the besieged Kenya Power and Lighting Company senior managers on bond.
Chief Magistrate Douglas Ogoti while giving the ruling said there was no ground for denying the accused bond which he gave on stringent terms.
They will be set free once they deposit 1 million cash bail with the judiciary.However should they fail to do so by close of business Tomorrow Wednesday July 18 2018,they will be transferred to Industrial area or Langata prisons.
The hearing was disrupted briefly in the morning after a power outage hit the building.
The case was adjourned for about 30 minutes until power was restored.
