KPC scandal:Managing Director Joe Sang refutes claims that 95 billion shillings can not be accounted for

BY KORIR JUMA,NAIROBI,5TH JUNE,2018-The Kenya pipeline corporation managing director Joe sang has refuted claims that the firm lost over 95 billion shillings.Addressing the press in Nairobi on Tuesday Morning,SANG was categorical that the allegations are inaccurate and Malicious to the company.”We find this allegations quite inaccurate and malicious to KPC. Our turnover per year is sh. 25B. Sh.95 B is 10 years profit for KP.”’.he said.

According to Sang the contract sum of line 5 is sh48.4b and not sh.80b as alleged.

Sang was reacting to a story published in a section of the daily local newspaper.

However  Sang  has insisted that  no public funds stolen, he  says Sh95b quoted is way above the parastatal’s annual turnover of Sh28b.
