BY KORIR JUMA,NAIROBI,13TH MAY 2018-The bodies of the victims of the Nakuru Patel Dam tragedy that had not been identified have been positively accounted for after the two remaining bodies were identified at the Nakuru County Government mortuary on Sunday .
The two bodies a woman and boy child d, were identified by their relatives who had been looking for them since Wednesday.
A four-day search was mounted after those who lost their loved ones had undergone counseling by Kenya Red Cross society officials.
Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui said the county government had waived mortuary and postmortem fees for those who died as a result of the tragedy.
He said after attending an interdenominational prayer service held on Sunday at Solai trading centre .
The killer dam left 45 people dead and 5, 000 displaced.
The Director of Public Prosecutions has since ordered the Inspector General of Police to conduct investigations into the Solai dam tragedy.
The report of the investigation is expected to be handed over to the DPP in two weeks time/
