BY SAMSON MBII,DESK,10TH APRIL 2018-Kenya has another silver medal after Beatrice Chepkoech won the silverware in the women’s 1,500m at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia on Tuesday.The results now means that Kenya has four medals.
Chepkoech clocked 4:03.09 to finish second behind South African Caster Semenya who timed a games record 4:00.71.
Another Kenyan Mary Kuria finished fifth in 5:88.05.
Still in Australia , Maxmilla Imali sailed to the 400m finals of the ongoing Commonwealth Games after winning her semifinal on 51.52.
Imali who holds the national record crossed the finish line head of Nigerian Yinka Ajayi who clocked 51.81 to represent Kenya in the finals.
