BY KORIR JUMA,NAIROBI,20TH MARCH 2018- A foreign media  namely Channel 4 News has revealed  that British data company, Cambridge Analytica, played an enormous role in Kenya’s 2013 and 2017 presidential elections.
 The investigative piece carried by the media outfit  in Britain says that  Cambridge Analytica was behind Uhuruto’s aggressive campaigns.

The well documented  report says the company was also  behind  Jubilee Party’s manifesto drafting it from the beginning as well as speeches  together with  party’s re-branding

 The series named , ‘Data, Democracy and Dirty Tricks’, claimed the company used propaganda and other tricks to influence decision of Kenyan voters

 The three-part series went on air after a four-month undercover investigation that involved interviews with the company’s CEO Alexander Nix

WWW.UPESINEWS.CO.KE has established  that Jubilee Party’s 2013 and 2017 political campaigns that led to the election and re-election of Uhuru Kenyatta were all stage-managed by Cambridge Analytica.

The company has recently been in the news  for all the wrong reasons.

According to the company’s CEO Alexander Nix, who was interviewed by Channel 4 News investigative journalists, the data company wrote the Jubilee Party’s manifesto.

“We ran the Kenyatta campaigns in 2013 and 2017. We re-branded the entire party twice, wrote their manifesto and did two rounds of 50,000 surveys. We also wrote all their speeches and staged the whole thing,” Nix told Channel 4 News.
