NASA leaders meet to chart way forward after Uhuru,Odinga talks

BY KORIR JUMA,12TH MARCH 2018-The National Super Alliance leaders are meeting today to chart way forward after last weeks event which saw co-principal Raila Odinga meet with president Uhuru Kenyatta.The meeting which is taking place in Athi River Machakos county is being attended by Kalonzo Musyoka,Musalia Mudavadi,and Moses Wetangula and Raila Odinga .Odinga had earlier been reported that he may not attend .
The three were not at Harambee house for the meeting and they claimed that they were kept in the dark
After their talks at Harambee House, Raila and Uhuru agreed to unite for peace and healing after last years’ bruising political battle.
In a statement that followed the talks, Nasa leaders said they will discuss the development at a retreat.
“While we have always advocated for dialogue as co-principals of the Nasa coalition, we were not privy to the discussions at Harambee House,” they said in their statement last week.
The Athi River meeting was sanctioned by Nasa principals Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetang’ula to discuss Raila’s Friday deal with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The leaders will address the press after their meeting.
