Uhuru meets opposition chief Raila Odinga

BY SAMSON MBII,NAIROBI,9TH MARCH 2018-President Kenyatta on Friday morning met opposition chief  Raila Odinga at Harambee House in Nairobi.

The details of the meeting remains scanty but the two leaders are expected to address the nation shortly after the meeting.

This is the  first meeting since  the hotly contested August 8, 2017 General Election and a repeat poll that Mr Odinga boycotted was not immediately clear.NASA has maintained that they will not recognize Uhuru’s presidency

WWW.UPESINEWS.CO.KE has established that once the two leaders come out of Uhuru’s harambee house office,Odinga will first address the Nation followed by Kenyatta.

This comes just  hours  before  US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson arrives in the country for one day official visit.

The plane carrying Tillerson  is expected  to touch down at the Jomo Kenyatta international airport  shortly after   5pm after which he  will head straight to Villa Rosa Kempinski to address a press conference.
