There is no strained relationship between govt and Judiciary-Kiraithe

BY NAMULONGO PETER,NAIROBI,28TH FEB 2018-The government has refuted  claims that it had a strained relationship with the judiciary.Government spokesman

Eric Kiraithe says the claims  were mare propaganda and hearsay that had no a single truth.Addressing the press,Kiraithe  says  the allegations that there was plans to sack the  chief justice David Maraga  were baseless.

He further emphasized that  the government was determined in ensuring there was enabling environment in the courts to ensure Kenyans got access to justice as it was their constitutional right.However the  government spokes person was sought to put the records straight on adhering to the rue of law.He says every public  institution has no choice including the judiciary to respect the rule of law and abide by it at all times.

His sentiments comes just a day after the national assembly threw out a petition presented by a lawyer Kamotho Njenga seeking the removal from office of the chief justice David Maraga his deputy Philomena Mwilu as well as six other members of judicial service commission.
