The media plans to work with judiciary in Bringing the Jubilee govt down-Tuju

BY KORIR JUMA,NAIROBI,9TH FEB 2018-The Jubilee party secretary general Raphael Tuju now alleges that local Media  intends to work with the judiciary to bring down the Jubilee government down.

Speaking to the BBC Tuju says that some local media stations who  feel powerful due to their commercial base have plans to bring down the government.

In an interview that was conducted by the british media house,Tuju has also blamed local journalists for resulting to unprofessional conduct and swearing allegiance  to political affiliations instead of serving their country with decorum.

Asked why the government refused to heed to the court’s  orders to resume transmission for the stations shut for allegedly covering NASA leader Raila Odinga’s swearing in as people’s president,Tuju said it was precautionary measure  by government  not to  allow the same media blow things out of proportion considering the political temperatures at the time.

Tuju also said kenyan journalists can not be trusted to carry out it’s mandate as expected since most of them have no proper training.”Some of these guys have no proper training at all,that is why they can take some kickbacks and write stories that are not factual.” he said.
