Kajwang released on Ksh 50,000 bail in treason case

BY KORIR JUMA,NAIROBI,7TH FEB 2018-Ruaraka member of parliament TJ Kajwang has been released on Ksh 50,000 cash bail in treason case facing him.While appearing in Court during the mention of his case ,Kajwang  pleaded not guilty. They have been directed    to be in court on 28th Feb for pretrial hearing on his case.He is accused of administering an ‘oath’ to NASA leader Raila Odinga as people’s president.

Kajwang is among other 9 opposition Members of parliament and senators who are accused on taking part in the illegal oath event held at Uhuru park grounds in Nairobi on January  30 2018.All have been directed to surrender their passports to the immigration department at the Nyayo house in Nairobi in a week’s time.


While addressing the press in Ngong,Homabay Member of parliament Peter Kaluma says they do not believe that Miguna Miguna  has been deported.”This is yet another fallacy from the jubilee government it want to make Kenyans believe that Miguna has been deported but it is not true we must be told where he is”.he said.

His sentiments have also been shared by many Kenyans  especially on social media.
