BY KORIR JUMA,NAIROBI,17TH JAN 2018-It is sweet news to all 2017 KCSE candidates who managed to score grade C+ of 46 points after the government announced that they will all be allowed to join public universities.
In a statement released Wednesday, January 17, the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) CEO John Muraguri said all students who managed a C+ of 46 and above will be accommodate in public and private universities across the country.
On the other hand those who got C- of 32 points will join tertiary institutions to pursue diploma courses – For candidates who scored a mean grade of D of 18 points and above they will be able to enroll for craft certificate courses offered in tertiary institutions.
70,073 students scored the required C+ and above and will be joining universities later in 2018.
