BY KORIR JUMA,NAIROBI,9TH JAN 2018-Baringo senator Gideon Moi has sought to set the record straight concerning the claims that he may have influenced the appointment of the cabinet secretaries announced by president Uhuru Kenyatta last week.
Addressing the press at parliament buildings on Tuesday the senator says he has not intention of taking up a cabinet slot insisting that his main agenda was to serve the people of Baringo who elected him. ”I believe the people of Baringo have a right to services and that is why they elected me, am committed to doing exactly that”.he said.
The senator has also made it clear that even if he was maned as one of the cabinet secretaries he will not take up the job.The Baringo Senaotor who is serving his second term was categorical that he intends to ensure that all ICT bills that are still pending in parliament are fastrucked as soon as possible and passed so as Kenyans will benefit.
”Our foremost priority will be to fastruck the bills pending in parliament as you are all aware ICT is important to the Economy of this country and need all our attention”.Senator Moi added.
