TIFA Survey shows Kenyans confidence of the new year 2018

BY KORIR JUMA,NAIROBI,3RD JAN,2018-A survey  conducted by Research firm TIFA shows 64% of Kenyans are confidence  that 2018 will be a better year compared to  2017 .

17% of those interviewed said they were not sure about future prospects and will  wait and see how all things turns out.The survey which was conducted between 12th– 16th December 2017 involved 1005 people.

Majority of Kenyans   also hope that the year 2018 will provide an opportunity for a more united, and cohesive country after the elections conducted last year that saw the country divided on political  basis.

TIFA CEO Maggy Ireri who was speaking during  the release of the poll results says  more than 75% of Jubilee supporters feel that this year will be better than 2017 with less than 50% of Nasa Supporters in agreement.

 Kenyans are also hopeful that politicians will give them a break for the next 5 years so as to allow the country to focus on economic development that will spur job creation and the lower the standards of living.
