BY CORRESPONDENT,NAKURU,23RD DEC 2017-Six family members, including two children are lucky to be alive after a car they were traveling in collided with a matatu in Nakuru Town on Saturday.The six were however injured and are currently receiving treatment at the Mediheal Hospital .
The family was travelling to Nairobi from Eldoret for Christmas and New Year celebrations.
They sustained chest ,head, arm and neck injuries.
Those who witnessed the accident say the matatu had dropped off passengers and was joining the highway at a high speed, heading towards Nakuru Town, when it collided with the familly’s car.
The matatu driver fled after the accident, leaving the passengers stranded.
