Chief justice David Maraga condemns carjacking of Kwale chief magistrate Doreen Mulekho,Urges police to beef up security for Judiciary staff and all Kenyans

BY KORIR JUMA,NAIROBI,22ND DEC 2017-Chief Justice David Maraga has condemned Carjacking of Kwale Chief Magistrate Doreen Mulekyo  last night terming it a shock to the entire judiciary.

Magistrate Mulekyo was carjacked in Diani  was however not hurt but later released by the carjackerst.

Chief Justice Maraga through a message on his twitter account has called upon the police to ensure the culprits are arrested and beef up security for all the judiciary staff and Kenyans in general.

“We thank God she wasn’t hurt…We want to see better security for all our staff, and indeed all Kenyans,” says Maraga.

The incident comes  close to two months since  the driver of Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu was shot and injured after two men on a motorbike accosted him along Ngong Road, Nairobi in October.
