Teachers who aided in exam irregularities to be De-registered-TSC

BY KORIR JUMA,NAIROBI,20TH DEC 2017-Teachers service commission  has said it will de-register all teachers who were involved in the 2017 KCSE exams irregularities.

According to TSC chief Executive officer Nancy Macharia the commission had information  concerning 40 teachers who were found capable.” We have information about 40 teachers who were involved.it is not going to be business as usual”.said Macharia.Speaking During the release of this year’s KCSE exams results at the Nairobi school in Nairobi,Ms Mcharia also warned the proprietor of private schools across the country that they will be dealt with accordance to the law should they engage in anyway with the De-registered teachers.”I want to warn all proprietor of private schools across the country that not to engage any of those teachers who have been De-registered,we have the list on our website so nobody can say they don’t know”.she added.

On his side kenya national examinations council chairman George Makokha has insisted that performance contracting should continue to be embraced by all teachers.”We can only work well if we have a clear set goals  which performance contracting is one of them”he said.
