BY SAMSON MBII,8THDEC 2017-Reports indicates that Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has made up his mind and he is  considering  leaving the club for Spain due to what he has termed as  family reasons.

Sources  say the shot stopper might reject a new contract even if Chelsea meet his wage demands because he wants to move closer to his two children. Both of Courtois’ kids are being raised in Madrid and he understandably would like to see them more regularly. The Blues want to give him an extension on his current deal, which has 18 months left to run, and more talks will he held later in the season.

The 24-year-old asked Chelsea to double his £100,000-a-week salary when negotiations started earlier in the year. Chelsea’s initial offer in May was rejected because it was less than that and there have been no talks since.

Real Madrid are huge admirers of Courtois and are considering making a bid in the summer, although Manchester United star David de Gea and Athletic Bilbao’s Kepa Arrizabalaga are also on their wishlis.
