BY JOHN WERU/PSCU,NAIROBI,24TH NOV 2017-President Elect Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday met with the top KCPE student Goldalyn Kakuya who paid him a visit at state house Nairobi.
The president who congratulated her for the outstanding performance thanked her for setting the pace in her primary school level and asking her to maintain the same spirit even as she plans to join the secondary school come next year.
The president also said the student had a bright future ahead of her and promised that his administration will do whatever it can to ensure she gets all the necessary support.”Goldalyn has a very bright future and our administration will ensure that she receives all the support she needs to fulfill her dreams”.he said.
Goldalyn who studied at St Anne Junior Lubao in Kakamega County emerged the top candidate in the 2017 Standard 8 national exams.
Kakuya beat all odds that come with albinism to score 455 out the possible 500 marks.
During the release of the results Goldalyn had expressed her desire to join Safaricom foundation academy or Kenya high school for her A level education.
