BY NAMULONGO PETER,NAIROBI,23RD NOV 2017-The government has declared Tuesday November 28 as a public holiday.The announcement was made on Thursday November 23 ,through a gazette notice published by the head of public service Joseph Kinyua and signed by acting interior cabinet secretary Fred Matiangi.
The day will be used by Kenyans to attend the swearing in of president elect Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto into office for the second term.
The event will take place at the Moi Kasarani stadium in Nairobi.Preparations for the function are ongoing and are expected to be complete by Friday.
