The decision of the Supreme court was taken under duress, we still don’t recognize this govt-NASA

BY NAMULONGO PETER,NAIROBI,20TH NOV 2017-The National Super Alliance NASA says  the decision by the supreme court to uphold president Uhuru’s victory  did not come as a surprise.

In a statement sent to the press shortly after the much awaited  ruling  by the Adviser to NASA presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga Salim Lone,the coalition says it still holds it position that despite the ruling the Jubilee government was illegitimate.”We in NASA had repeatedly declared before Today’s ruling  by the supreme court that we consider this government to be illegitimate and do not recognize it”.said the statement in part.

The coalition also affirms that their position has not changed despite the ruling.

The statement also says that NASA will not condemn the supreme court for the decision but rather sympathize greatly with it for being pushed to give a ruling that is not befitting of a such a court.”We do not condemn the court ,we sympathize with it”adds the statement.

NASA has further urged its supporters across the country to remain calm and wait for the directions to be given by its leaders in due cause.
