BY EURIDICE NZIOKA,NAIROBI,6TH NOV 2017-The Labour Court judge Monica Mbaru on Tuesday ordered the reinstatement of Kenya Airways’ former finance director, Alex Mbugua.
Mbugua who had been sacked in 2016 was linked to the Sh29.7 billion loss that affected the airline in the 2014-2015 financial year.
WWW.UPESINEWS.CO.KE has established that the move was reached at after the former director managed to secure a court order stopping his replacement as the finance director. Mbugua argued that he had complied with all the rules and regulations stipulated in his contract throughout his eight year spell at the company
The former KQ chief executive Mbuvi Ngunze did not escape the blame with Mbugua accusing him of stealing from the company while singling him out as the fall guy.
Mbugua will be be re-instated and granted access to the company starting Wednesday 8th November 2017
