Kenyatta and Odinga attend a church service at All saints cathedral as Church marks 100th Anniversary

BY KORIR JUMA,NAIROBI,5TH NOV 2017-The call for unity and reconciliation rented the air at the All sants cathedral church in Nairobi on Sunday November 5th, as the church  marked 100th anniversary.

The service that was led by    archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby was also attended by President Uhuru Kenyatta and National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga.

Addressing the faithful  President Kenyatta said the country will heed the call of the global Anglican Church for reconciliation in order to solve political disputes.

Kenyatta also  received a gift from the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby,

“We heard your message of reconciliation and I hope every single person in this room heard your message,” said Kenyatta.

NASA leader Raila  Odinga  however did not speak during the church service.
