BY EURIDICE NZIOKA,NAIROBI, 27TH OCT 2017-The election observers group in Kenya Elog says the repeat presidential poll held on Thursday has divided the country even more and failed to meet the expectation of a national election.
In a statement to the press on Friday, the group also says more than 170 lives have been lost since August 8th polls.
The group is calling upon political players in the country to put aside their differences and chart away forward in uniting the nation. It has also noted that the election was characterized by boycott and low turnout.
The group therefore wants an agreement to be reached between various warring political sides for the sake of the country and also consider an election organized in a free and fair environment going forward.
