BY JOHN WERU,NAIROBI,26TH OCT 2017-.Drama ensued on Thursday evening after some NASA allied politicians stormed and disrupted a Jubilee Party press conference in a Nairobi hotel.
The team, led by Mathare MP Anthony Tom Oluoch and Kibera MP Ken Okoth, were angered by statements made Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen that they (NASA politicians) were waiting for him to pay for their “tea” at the Panafric Hotel.
Murkomen, while trying to say that politicians, despite party affiliation, are friends, said that the NASA politicians were in the hotel waiting for him to pay for their tea.
A few moments later, the politicians, who said that they had paid for the grounds that Murkomen, Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja and Nominated MP Jennifer Shamalla were using for their press conference, stormed the press conference and took over live on TV forcing the Jubilee politicians to leave and came back after they were done.
Then tempers continued to fly and became worse Oluoch decided to square it off before things cooled down .
