NASA insists there must be reforms at IEBC before an election is held

BY KORIR JUMA,NAIROBI,14TH OCT 2017-The National Super Alliance NASA has insisted that  there was no any other way out of the current political situation unless reforms are carried out in the Electoral body.

NASA leaders who included  Mps Opiyo Wandayi,Junet Muhamed and Siaya senator James Orengo says IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba must resign  among other demands raised.

Addressing a rally in Kamukunji Nairobi Suna East member of parliament Junet Muhamed  also says NASA will not take part in another shambolic election.”Chebukati must know that there will be no election on 26th of October unless our irreducible minimum list is met.”he said.

NASA has also accused the acting interior CS Fred Matiangi for  failure to  advise police  not to use excessive  force on peaceful demonstrators.”Iwapo polisi wataendelea kuua wandamanji wetu tutachukua mkondo wa kisheria”( If police continue to use force and kill our surpporters we will go to court ).he said.

His sentiments were echoed by Ugunja Member of parliament Opiyo Wandayi who said they will not tire as NASA in pushing for political change in the country.
