President Uhuru Signs into law the Supplementary budget to allocate Kshs 12 billion for Oct 26 fresh poll

BY JOHN WERU,NAIROBI,13TH OCT 2017-President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday 13th Oct Signed into law the Supplementary budget that allocates Kshs 12 billion for Oct 26 fresh poll.
The head of state has also signed into law the other supplementary budget that allocate Kshs 25 billion for free secondary education.
Supplementary Appropriation (No. 3) Act, 2017, also allocates Kshs 6.7 billion for maize subsidy.
The signing ceremony was conducted at state house Nairobi and witnessed by among others deputy president William Ruto and leader of majority Aden Duale.

WWW.UPESINEWS.CO.KE has also established that the head of state has received the electoral laws amendments bill 2017 for assent.
The president has 14 days to assent to electoral amendments bill after receiving it or take it back to parliament should he not agree with it.
