BY JOHN WERU,NAIROBI, 3RD OCT 2017-The National Super Alliance NASA on Tuesday  3RD OCT, began the process of instigating private prosecutions against six Safaricom staff members  who are said to have conspired  with the IEBC and the French IT Firm, OT Morpho to bungle the August 8 presidential Poll.

The  opposition  has claimed that the integrated mobile services firm routed results from the polling stations to a server in France and terminated them there instead of transmitting to the electoral commission’s server at the BOMAS of Kenya.

The opposition had  given  the Director of public prosecution three days  to prosecute the said individuals but the time has since lapsed hence the private prosecutions.

Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore defended the firm saying that ‘results from KIEMs kits from Safaricom zones, were transmitted and are on the IEBC web portal.

The six  are: Shaka Kwach, Anthony Gachanja, Robert Mutai, Thibaud Rerolle, Farouk Gaffour and Andrew Masila.
