Moses Kuria distances himself from Mungiki involvement

BY JOHN WERU,NAIROBI,26TH SEPT 2017-Gatundu North Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has distanced himself with claims he was part of a scheme by government to recruit and arm the outlawed Mungiki members with the aim of harming the opposition leaders.
Addressing the press at parliament buildings on Tuesday afternoon,Kuria says the claims by ODM chair John Mbadi are aimed at creating chaos and violence such as those witnessed just before and after the general elections of the year 2007 where some people where indicted at the ICC.
Kuria says he is not in anyway related to the said group.The vocal MP has also commended the police for ensuring peace prevailed in Nairobi even as the NASA anti-IEBC Demos got underway.Addressing the press earlier on Tuesday ODM chair John Mbadi claimed that Jubilee was using people such as Moses Kuria to mobilize and arm mungiki members to harm the opposition.
