We are ready for repeat poll,Uhuru Ruto affirms as they take Jubilee campaigns to Embu

BY JOHN WERU/CORRESPONDENT,25TH SEPT 2017-President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto have affirmed that they were ready for the repeat of presidential poll slated for October 26.The tow who took their election campaigns to Runyenjes and Chuka in Embu  county Monday 25th Sept,have said the opposition thought Jubilee could reject the ruling of the supreme court and therefore plunge the country into chaos”.The opposition expected us to reject the Supreme Court ruling so that we could have a crisis in Kenya” said Uhuru.

During the meet the people tour at Chuka president Kenyatta and Dp Ruto  accused the opposition of planing to distabilize the country.”What they forgot is that Jubilee stands for PEACE. So we are telling them – Tukutane Kwa Debe” said Kenyatta.

The president who later addressed the students of Chuka University  has urged Kenyans and especially politicians not  teach  young men to insult their elders but rather focus on giving all  children a quality education.

His sentiments follows  statement by  Embakasi East MP Babu Owino who is reported to have directed harsh words  deemed improper to the first family.

This led to an outrage from a section of Kenyans across the political divide

He insisted the Jubilee agenda was to see each and every Kenyan child get access to quality education so as to be sure of a better future.”Anyone who sees himself more important than millions of children who are pursuing an education does not have the country’s interest at heart”.he said

He added that Learning should not stop because of anyone’s selfish political ambition.The head of state has also warned the National Super Alliance NASA a head of planned demonstrations to force IEBC officials out of office on Tuesday ,that his government will not allow disruption peace or any chaos from the demonstrators.

NASA has announced that it will mobilize its supporters from Nairobi to match at the IEBC offices and order out all the commission’s officials who are accused of bungling the August 8 polls.
