BY NAMULONGO PETER,NAIROBI,25TH SEPT 2017-The National super Alliance  NASA has insisted that its planned demonstrations meant to force the independent Electoral and Boundaries commission IEBC OFFICIALS who bungled the August 8 elections are still on.

NASA co-principal Moses Wetangula says the peaceful demonstrations will serve as a way of  supporting their call that the second round of elections can not be conducted with the same   IEBC team.Wetangula has however warned police against provoking peaceful demonstration who will be exercising their democratic rights to picket, saying they have clearly instructed their supporters not to cause chaos or damage to anyone’s property.According to Wetangula it is police who have always provoked  demonstrators to violence in the past and therefore resulting to chaos.

Even as NASA gave its position on Demonstration, the Independent Electoral and boundaries Commission IEBC has appealed to NASA to put on hold its plans to demonstrate and instead wait for the talks planed for Wednesdays between the two sides. In the statement seen by WWW.UPESINEWS.CO.KE,the commission was categorical that it was willing to engage NASA  in fruitful talks that will end the current statement a head of the repeat presidential polls.
