BY KORIR JUMA,NAIROBI,11TH SEPT 2017-President Uhuru kenyatta says that Jubilee will still impeach Raila Odinga even if he won the October 17 fresh round of polls.Addressing Ukambani jubilee leaders who paid him a visit in state house Monday,Kenyatta said Jubilee had majority members in both the National Assembly and Senate and it only needs a sitting of both houses to pass a motion of impeachment against Odinga in three months.”Even if he is elected, we will impeach him two or three months” .he said.
The president also said he and the Jubilee party was the only political outfit that is not tribal going by the members of parliament elected on its ticket across the country.He said in the tightly contested Nairobi gubernatorial race he overwhelmingly campaigned for Mike Sonko who is from eastern despite having candidates from his own gikuyu community. ”Huyu Sonko mimi nilimfanyia kampeni kwa moyo mmoja na akashinda licha ya kwamba kulikuwa na watu wangu.”he said.

The head of state asked the leaders to mobilize grassroots support for Jubilee Ahead of the October 17 Elections.He said Jubilee was a peace loving party that is why despite the supreme court nullifying his win he has continued to emphasize peace of all Kenyans.
Kamba leaders led by current members of parliament elected on a jubilee ticket and former leaders have assured that president that they will support him and the deputy president.
Kitui South member of parliament Rachael Nyamai said even though the region did not vote for Kenyatta in the 2013 elections they were grateful that despite that reality the head of state had brought development in the region and therefore he needed to be supported.
