BY NAMULONGO PETER,NAIROBI,11TH SEPT 2017-A section of tax drivers from various companies in the country have began their strike demanding higher pay.
Addressing the press in Nairobi on Monday before announcing their move,the drivers from among others organizations Uber, Taxify, Mondo Ride, and Little claim that the work they do on a daily basisi do not commensurate with what they receive in salaries.
Those who talked to UPESINEWS.CO.KE say they wake up as early as 3am and close work as as late as 12am.
They also complain of working long hours without time to rest.
