BY JOHN WERU,NAIROBI,11TH SEPT 2017-The independent Electoral and boundaries Commission IEBC has begun its conference in Naivasha to deliberate on how to prepare for the second round of presidential elections slated for October 17th.
The meeting will also be important as it is viewed largely as a platform that will be used by the commissioners to Iron out differences that may have occurred among them in the recent past. In the past one week the commission has been in the spotlight after a Memo addressed to chief executive officer Ezra Chiloba by the chair Wafula Chebukati asking for a clarification on several issues that affected the August 8 elections.
The Memo which leaked to the media has caused ripples in the commission with some commissioners dismissing it while others endorsing the same.
