True to her words,Wavinya Ndeti files case in court challenging Governor Mutua’s re-election

BY EURIDICE NZIOKA,5TH SEPT 2017-The former Machakos gubernatorial candidate on Wiper Ticket Wavinya Ndeti  on Tuesday evening  made true her words by filing a case in court to  challenge the re-election of Governor Dr Alfred Matua.

Ndeti who was accompanied by other Ukambani leaders filed the case at the Machakos high court on Tuesday Evening expressing confidence that governor Mutua’s win will be overturned.

Ndeti  says she  had enough  evidence that her vote was stolen.

 

Dr Mutua garnered 238,405 votes against Wavinya’s 199,257 in the August 8 elections.

Ndeti  now joins the list of other candidates who lost  in the August 8 elections who have since filed their  petitions in court challenging the victories of their rivals.

Martha Karua had earlier on in the day filed a case in  Kerugoya court to challenge the victory Of Ann Waiguru as the governor of Kirinyaga in the August 8 Election.
