By Korir Juma,Nairobi,31ST AUG 2017-Voting of the National assembly speaker has gone into the second round after the first round failed to produce the winner.The speaker in the 11th parliament Justine Muturi got 217 votes while his rival Dr Noah Awinja got only 4 votes.
The law requires that the winner got two thirds of all votes cast depending on the number of members of parliament.
The winner was supposed to garner 233 votes prompting the second round.
221 votes were cast.
