Nine governors sworn in to start their year five term

BY JOHN WERU/CORRESPONDENTS,18TH AUG 2017– A total of nine governors have been sworn to start their five year term in office.The Nine are Nyamira’s  John Nyangarama, Joseph Olelenku of Kajiado,Kiraitu Murungi of Meru county taking on from Peter Munya.In Lamu county Swahim Twaha was officially given the mandate.

In Embu Martin Wambora was sworn in .Wambora promised to ensure that Embu residents enjoy development in infrastructure,Education and as well as framing.

In Kajiado the Outgoing governor David Nkedianye promised to work together with the newly sworn in governor Joseph Olelenku to serve the people of Kajiado.Lenku was also  installed as maa community elder.

The outgoing governor Governor Nkedianye promised to work together with Lenku.In Nyamira Governor John Nyngarama  promised to deal with insecurity and other challenges.In Lamu Swalim Taha  was sworn in.Others are Thraka Nithi and Homabya’s Cyprian Awiti
