NASA Claims more than 100 of its supporters killed in election related violence

BY KORIR JUMA,NAIROBI,12TH AUG 2017-The National Super Alliance NASA  claims  100 of its supporters have been shot dead by police in election related violence.Addressing  the press on Saturday 12th Aug in Nairobi,NASA leaders Siaya senator James Orengo and Johnstone  Muthama have  blamed the acting interior Cabinet secretary Fred Matiang’i and inspector general of police Joseph Boinet for remaining silence while the killings are taking place.

Muthama said Matiang’i and Boinet will be held personally responsible for the deaths of their supporters.NASA also presented cartridges of life bullets used in areas of Mathare and katwekera in kibera.He has further urged NASA supporters to avoid any confrontations and violence.

On his side Siaya senator James Orengo has insisted that Jubilee did not win the presidential elections.”Stolen election does not amount to established of government as per the constitution”.he said.

Orengo says the independent electoral and boundaries Commission had let the country down in announcing false results. He says the Executive applied pressure on the IEBC to announce stolen elections.He also urged their supporters to remain cal as NASA thinks of the next step.Orengo says IEBC had  ignored concerns raised by NASA  since the decision had been achieved at.
