Kitutu Chache South parliamentary election put off following death of contender

BY UPESINEWS REPORTER,NAIROBI,27TH JULY 2017-The  residents of Kitutu Chache constituency will not be going to the polls on August 8 to elect their  Member of parliament after all this is  after IEBC  called off the exercise in the constituency.
The commission had asked Jubilee party to nominate a replacement of the late

Leonard  Mwamba but the party  delayed forcing  the commission to make this decision. The late Mwamba died on July 14 when a car he was traveling in was involved in a fatal accident along the Kisii-Kisumu road.

The postponement now means that voters will wait for a little bit longer to pick their MP. Incumbent Richard Onyonka of Ford Kenya is facing ODM’s Samuel Omwando among others.
