BY GRACE WANJOHI,NAIROBI,27TH JULY 2017-It is good news for Jaranda Hotel in Nairobi after it was declared Cholera free on Thursday 27th July.UPESINEWS.CO.KE has established that the hotel has alreaday resumed operations after it was shut two weeks ago.
The decision by the government to shut the hotel followed revelations that some of the hotel’s employees had been diagnosed with the bacteria infection and the decision was aimed at making sure the spread is contained.
Health cabinet Secretary Cleopa Mailu his tourism counter part Najib Balala and Sicily Karuiki visited the hotel and took a meal as a sing that the hotel was now safe.

The hotel has also been given a certificate as proof of acceptable health standards.
Nairobi county deputy director of health Jairus Musimba said that the certificate was an indication that the hotel was cleared and can now continue with its operations as usual.
